Description
You're bidding on a cool, vintage percolating coffee pot - circa 1930s Art Deco period - manufactured by Robeson Rochester Corp. under their "Royal Rochester" brand name. Pot is porcelain, with chrome base, rim and lid, which is topped off by a large "Fire King" marked glass knob. It is not labeled as such, but the porcelain for these products was made for Rochester by the Fraunfelter China Co. Pot features a beautiful transferware pattern of red bell-like flowers, and red pinstriping.Overall very nice condition - minimal scratch wear to the chrome, and no chips, cracks or crazing to the porcelain or glass. Complete with all parts including a period cloth cord in good functional condition. Pot is tested and working. Overall fairly clean for age and type. Stands 11" tall, diameter of about 5 1/2", about 9 3/4" width from spout to handle and fluid capacity of about 44 oz - so roughly 5 cups at a modern 8 oz mug size.
Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of overall condition and appeal, and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding - thanks for looking!
