This is a beautiful retro 1950’s-60’s Vintage Mid Century Sunbeam “Vista” Chrome Coffeemaster Percolator, Model VAP 75. It is in “vintage-excellent” condition. It stands nearly 13” tall and measures approximately 9” from tip if spout to handle. This model is fully automatic and is adjustable for coffee strength from mild to strong.
This collectible piece would look great on display in your kitchen and has plenty of years left as a working unit in your home, work, bed & breakfast, etc. Its charm is sure to spark some interesting conversations!
There is no damage that we can detect, no stains or damage to the chrome other than the expected very minor scuffs and swirls for a ~60 yr vintage piece. Bakelite base and handles are structurally intact. Nice and clean on the inside. Inner parts are extremely clean, free of corrosion, staining and physic damage. Vintage spring-supported power cord is flexible and free of cuts and cracks. Pot holds up to 10 cups. It has been tested and works as it should. It starts boiling within seconds. The indicator light comes on when the pot is finished the desired brew strength and it switches to “keep warm“ mode without burning the coffee.
