Vintage Cory Electric Vacuum Coffee Pot with Four Rods Double Bubble Design.
This pot is in clean, excellent working condition. No marks on the chrome. The rubber neck is supple and without cracks. The cord is supple and clean.
This 8 cup coffee pot is the electric version of Cory’s glass stovetop version. The water goes in the bottom pot. Coffee grounds in the top. 15 minutes after plugging in the water is sucked up to the top bubble where it brews. Then, as it cools it suddenly drops to the bottom pot where it will stay warm until unplugged. This is an amazing mid-century appliance.
There are four glass rods included which act as the filter. NEVER add any filter but the glass rod. Three are thick rods and one is thin. There are two boxes. I no longer remember how the thickness of the rod affects the coffee strength. They’re not marked as far as I can tell.
