Vietnamese Ranger Qualification Badge

vietnamese Ranger Qualification Badge with beret. In as found condition, I was told the beret is U.S. but is the wrong color for rangers? Came out of an estate of a navy veteran who served in Vietnam. Unfortunately I have no other info. The pin has been on the cap a long time.
The cap and pin shows signs of wear, scratches, small hole in beret, loose threads,ect. I don’t see any makers marks on the pin. If you would like more photos or have any questions please let me know. I will only ship within the U.S.
