    Stinger Gunship Vietnam War AC - 119 - K
Stinger Gunship TANK-BUSTERS, Operation Lam Son 719 - Widely believed prior to Operation Lam Son 719 to be in-effective against tanks, the AC-119-K, Stinger Gunship was to prove to be perfectly capable of tank assault when on the 28th of February, 1971, a Stinger Gunship, previously in the role of Truck Destroyer encountered 8 Russian Built tanks in the vicinity of a South Vietnamese Regiment.
This amounted to the total Russian Fleet of Tanks currently in service with the NVA. The Stinger Gunship, in one flight mission destroyed all of the North Vietnamese Army, Russian Built Tanks.
The SENSOR tab relates to a heat seeking device that allowed identification of truck engines at night (and under foliage) over the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Vengeance By Night.
