    Description

    The size of this patch is 2.5" x 3.5".
    The
    240th AHC
    departed the United States for the Republic of South Vietnam in May of 1967 and became a part of the 214th Combat Aviation Battalion, 1st Aviation Brigade. The unit flew its first operational mission on 28 June 1967. In March of 1969, the 240th AHC was transferred to the 222nd Aviation Battalion.
