The bottom is also shinny! This is an 8 cup pot. The size is 7 inches spout to handle x 13 inches tall to top of lid, the base is 4 5/8 inches diameter and the top of the pot is 5 inches diameter. The bottom is marked Flint Stainless Steel EKCO USA, 8-Cup 271.
