    Description

    Up for sale tonight are a large group of
    ORIGINAL
    USAF patches from a collection that I recently purchased.  They belonged to retired USAF Major James Abels and I acquired them directly from an USAF buddy of his.
    According to his obituary and his friend, he served in Vietnam as an O-2 “Skymaster” Forward Air Control pilot and was attached to Special Forces Command Control South (CCS) Mobile Launch Site South (MLS/S) flying in Cambodia.  I believe he was part of the 22nd TASS as his patches reflect this. Later, he went on to serve as an instructor pilot and then became an F-4 pilot.
