Description

3" welded steel handlebar riser block with OEM polaris aluminum clamp and mounting hardware. Arguably stronger/safer than Rox and other aluminum risers. The Rox model is two piece and slips into the steering stem clamp from each end (poor design), furthermore in a high impact situation, aluminum will crack and break off whereas steel, if anything, would only bend, and still get you home. This riser block is boxed welded steel, so it is hollow on the inside, making it no heavier than the Rox aluminum riser.
This unit came off a running 1999 XC 500 SP but will likely fit many other models. Did not require any line or cable extensions on the XC which makes installation easy and keeps the cost down. Also fits underneath handlebar pad/trim, maintaining a factory-like appearance.
