KODAK CINE EKTAR 25MM F1.4 S-MOUNT W/25MM TO 15MM CONVERTER & CAPS #3 (JB)

Description

Kodak Cine Ektar 25mm f1.5 S-mount lens with "Kodak Ektar Converter" for use exclusively with this configuration lens, which threads into the front of the lens barrel and turns it into a 15mm f1.4 wide angle. Lens serial number RE548 (1954), converter is RC254 (1951).
Glass of the lens is excellent, very clear with just a few bits of dust.
Focus and aperture rings move fine, just a bit stiffer than optimum but well within usable limits. This is a plus as many Cine Ektar lenses are very stiff or stuck solid.
Glass of the converter is fine, somewhat amber (like a strong skylight filter) due to the type of glass used back in the day for fast lenses. Some bubbling of the blackening at the edges of the front elements, common to these, no effect on the taken image 99% of the time.
Cosmetics typical of the plain aluminum used in its construction.
