Air Intake Vent Kit
The Polaris 600RR Air Intake Vent Kit is designed to cover stock vents to increase clean air flow.
IF HOLES NEED TO BE MADE, IT IS BETTER TO DRILL MANY SMALL HOLES RATHER THAT ONE LARGE ONE.
1. Clean and prepare the surface that the adhesive will come in contact with. This can be done
with denatured alcohol. This will remove any dirt, oils or silicone mold release agents.
NOTE: All adhesive applications must be made at household temperatures
and must remain inside for 24 hours before being subject to cold temperatures.
TIP: Work the Frogzskin along the outer edge of the each of the openings and use it as a guide edge.
Work the outer edge then pull across on the inside edges keeping material taught. Often a credit card can help to
position the Frogzskin into the narrower and thinner areas.
2. Remove silicone backing half way from the narrow end and fold it back.
This will allow you to get it started while still having someplace to hold the Frogzskin,
try avoiding contact between your fingers and the adhesive.
3. Align exposed Frogzskin and press into place. Remove the remainder of the silicone liner and work
the Frogzskin into place. The Frogzskin can be removed and repositioned if desired.
4. Press firmly to work out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
5. After the 24 hour setup time is over you are ready to go.
If the Frogzskin adhesive feels soft and pliable at room temperature, it is supposed to.
It is a characteristic of its design. It is engineered to withstand extreme cold temperature.
It has been tested and succeeded down to -109º F.
