Environmental impurities like tree sap and dirt collects on finishes into small micro particles, and becomes stubborn to casual washing, polishing and waxing. If the particle impurities are trapped behind the vinyl, particles in time will pit the clear coat and paint.)

Application
of is preferred for the overall life of the sticker. But to make positioning of decals easier, spray the surface lightly with water and a couple drops of mild detergent in an 8 ounce spray bottle.  It will allow positioning the sticker without stretching or tearing it. Gently push the water and bubbles out, and blot dry. allow to set.
