    Description

    These are two different Ampro corp. projector lens. They are similar in appearance but are marked differently. One lens is marked The Ampro Corp., Chicago U.S.A./Simpson Optical Mfg Co. Chicago, U.S.A. 2" E.F. F:1.65 and the other The Ampro Corp., Chicago U.S.A./Simpson Instrument & Lens Corp., Chicago, Ill. 2" E.F. F:1.65.
    These lenses were found in a garage on the museum grounds. They do not fit the projectors that we have. Age of these lenses is not known. These are donated items. Usage and ownership history is not known.
    These lenses have been donated to and are being sold by the Garden Grove Historical Society, a 503C(3) non-profit organization founded in April, 1966 and based in Garden Grove, California. All net proceeds from the sale of these items go to the general fund of the Society for upkeep and general operating expenses of the Stanley Ranch Museum.
